This year's conference of the International Communication Association in San Juan, Puerto Rico, ended very successful for the DySCo Research Group. The team members presented their most recent research in a total of eight conference papers.
Two submissions of the DySCo team received awards:
- “Understanding the Decay of Public Attention: Predicting Progress of Opinion Formation with Latent Growth Curves“ by Stefan Geiß was received a Top Four Student Paper Award of the Mass Communication Division.
- “A Matter of Perspective? How Self-Distancing and Perspective-Taking Influence First- and Third-Person Perceptions” by Philipp Müller and Sebastian Scherr (LMU Munich) was recognized as one of two Top Posters of the Mass Communication Division.
