ICA awards for DySCo team members

This year's conference of the International Communication Association in San Juan, Puerto Rico, ended very successful for the DySCo Research Group. The team members presented their most recent research in a total of eight conference papers.

Two submissions of the DySCo team received awards:

  • “Understanding the Decay of Public Attention: Predicting Progress of Opinion Formation with Latent Growth Curves“ by Stefan Geiß was received a Top Four Student Paper Award of the Mass Communication Division.
  • “A Matter of Perspective? How Self-Distancing and Perspective-Taking Influence First- and Third-Person Perceptions” by Philipp Müller and Sebastian Scherr (LMU Munich) was recognized as one of two Top Posters of the Mass Communication Division.
